The Experiences and Well-Being of Informal Caregivers of Individuals with Concurrent Disorders Acros

The purpose of this study is to understand the experiences and well-being of informal caregivers of individuals with concurrent disorders across the care journey. For the purposes of this study, informal caregivers are individuals (15 years or older) who provide unpaid care to an individual (15 years or older) with both mental and substance use disorders. Eligible participants will be invited to participate in a 60-minute virtual interview and will be asked approximately 10-15 questions about their current mood, experiences as an informal caregiver to an individual with concurrent disorders, what it's like to care for this individual and how this experience has impacted them. They will be compensated for their time. The information from this study will be used to provide insights on the types of resources, supports and/or treatments needed for informal caregivers of individuals with concurrent disorders.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA You must currently work with an outpatient exercise-based cardiac rehabilitation program located in Canada or the United States. Provide medical clearance for patients to do exercise training, AND/OR deliver exercise training (e.g., conduct assessments/screening, create/modify exercise plans, supervise and assist patients while exercising), AND/OR are educated and qualified to do so but are now in a managerial and/or research role.

Reducing the Risk of Hypertensive Disorders of Pregnancy: Understanding Canadian Providers' Beliefs,

In brief, this study will be utilizing a brief 5-minute Qualtrics survey and subsequent 30-60-minute interview on Microsoft Teams to explore the beliefs, knowledge, and prenatal physical activity prescription practices of Canadian general practitioners, nurse practitioners, midwives, and physician's assistants. The purpose of this study is to explore this area of inquiry to expand upon the current literature regarding provider beliefs, knowledge and practices from a Canadian perspective and lay the groundwork for future studies.

Participation in this study will require a telephone interview lasting approximately 5-10 minutes.  Subsequently, participants will be sent an online questionnaire lasting approximately 20 minutes.  Participants will then be sent follow-up surveys each month for 6 months (each lasting approximately 20 minutes).
