Dr. Juliet Bushi is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Windsor. She holds a B.A. in Kinesiology, a B.H.S. in Health Studies, and an M.A. in Public Administration & Health Policy from the University of Regina, where she is also completing her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction. Juliet is the founder of Canahari Multidisciplinary Summer Programs, a non‑profit offering culturally responsive programming for Black and racialized youth.

Dr. Bushi's research focuses on anti‑Black racism, Black student and parent experiences, physical and health literacy in underserved communities, and decolonizing educational practices through narrative inquiry and critical race theory. Her work spans North America, Europe, and Africa, and she is a co‑investigator on a SSHRC Partnership Development Grant examining living environments and social connectedness among older racialized immigrants. Through research and community engagement, Juliet aims to confront inequities that shape learning, health, and educational policy.
