Dr. Ayman Sayyed is an Assistant Professor at Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry (Windsor Campus) and a hematologist at Windsor Regional Hospital. He completed his MBBS at the University of Gezira and advanced subspecialty training in hematology, allogeneic stem cell transplantation, and cellular therapy at the University of Toronto and the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
Dr. Sayyed’s research centers on improving outcomes in allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation, with interests in transplant‑related complications, pre‑transplant therapies, and genetic predictors of treatment response in acute leukemias. He has published on cytomegalovirus seroconversion, blinatumomab use, G‑CSF effects, and high‑risk molecular mutations, and has presented his work at major international meetings including ASH and EBMT.
