Bio

Dr. Joyce Obeid is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at McMaster University and a Research Specialist at Erie Shores HealthCare. She holds a PhD in Pediatric Exercise Physiology and a BSc in Kinesiology from McMaster University.

Dr. Obeid's research examines movement, physical activity, and health in children and adolescents, with a particular focus on those living with chronic medical conditions or disabilities.

She contributes to interdisciplinary research in pediatric health, exercise science, and health promotion, advancing evidence-based approaches to improve wellbeing across diverse pediatric populations.
