IDEA Grant

WE-SPARK IDEA Grants Program supports low-cost, small-scale pilot projects, preliminary studies, and quality improvement initiatives. The grants help researchers gather initial data, test hypotheses, and support early planning, program evaluation, and dissemination of project outcomes that can lead to larger studies. Priority is given to investigators without established research programs.

Letter of Intent - Deadline Friday, April 3rd, 2026 by 5:00PM (Submitted online through AirTable)

• LOIs are non-competitive and used to assign reviewers. If you submit an LOI, you are eligible to submit a full application.

Application Form - Deadline Friday, May 8th, 2026, by 5:00PM (Submitted online through AirTable)

Note: If you've submitted, or been a co-applicant, on an LOI or Application for any previous grant year, an applicant profile has already been created for you. For first time applicants, please create a New Applicants Profile before moving on to the LOI submission. Applicant profiles are required for all applicants and co-applicants.
