Bio

John Spirou is a Full-time Professor and Program Coordinator for the Occupational Therapist Assistant/Physiotherapist Assistant program at St. Clair College. He holds a BSc in Physical Therapy from Western University, a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from AT Still University, and an MBA from Oakland University. 

John brings extensive clinical and administrative experience from acute care, outpatient rehabilitation, and multidisciplinary settings, alongside ongoing practice at Henry Ford Health Systems. He has held significant leadership roles in physiotherapy regulation and governance, including serving as President of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and as a board member with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. 

His academic and professional work focuses on physiotherapy practice, interprofessional care, and health system leadership.
