Vaping has become the most common source of nicotine use among teens, and many young people see it as a normal and low-risk activity. This project will test Signal Lab, a one-day interactive workshop designed to help students better understand the factors that encourage vaping. Through hands-on activities, students will learn how advertising, product design, social influences, and misinformation can shape their choices. By building critical thinking skills and confidence, the program aims to help youth make informed decisions and resist pressures that encourage vaping.

This project could help schools adopt effective, youth-focused approaches to preventing vaping, supporting healthier choices before nicotine addiction develops.
