A cancer diagnosis can bring emotional, practical, and social challenges. This project will ensure that every newly diagnosed cancer patient is contacted by a social worker within three days of their first oncology appointment to offer support and connect them with helpful resources. The study will evaluate whether this early outreach improves access to care, reduces distress, and enhances the patient experience.
