This study examines whether time-restricted feeding (TRF), an eating pattern aligned with the body's natural day-night rhythms, can help slow the development of colorectal cancer. Building on promising early findings, researchers will investigate whether TRF reduces inflammation and prevents early precancerous growths from progressing into more advanced disease. Using established cancer models, the team will study immune responses, tissue changes, and the interaction between feeding patterns and the body's internal clock.

This research could identify a simple, low-cost lifestyle approach to help prevent colorectal cancer progression, while improving our understanding of how nutrition, inflammation, and the body's biological clock influence cancer development.
