Study of Cognition and Sex Hormones
Active – Recruiting
CONTACT
The purpose of this study is to investigate how the menstrual cycle and female sex hormones may impact how well we think and pay attention. We will compare two menstrual cycle phases (i.e., luteal and follicular) and two hormones (i.e., estrogen and progesterone) to see how these may impact females with and without ADHD. We will also be investigating a new tool for measuring health literacy, or the ability to find and critically evaluate health information.
What Does The Study Involve?
Participation would involve a brief telephone call, followed by two in-person visits to a research lab at the University of Windsor.
