Dr. Bre-Anne Fifield is a Research Associate with the Porter Lab and Adjunct Assistant Professor with the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Windsor. She completed her PhD in Biological Sciences at the University of Windsor, where she also completed her MSc and BSc.
Her research is focused on elucidating the role Spy1 plays in regulating normal development of the mammary gland as well as how aberrant expression of Spy1 can contribute to tumourigenesis. A key focus of her work is on the development and characterization of new in vivo model systems to use as tools within the lab for all of our systems of study.
