Dr. Pooya Moradian Zadeh is an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science at the University of Windsor, where he also serves as the Acting Undergraduate Program Chair. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Windsor, a Master of Science in Information Technology Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Iran, and a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from Azad University of Najafabad, Iran.
His research focuses on social computing, social and complex network analysis, big data analytics, applied artificial intelligence, computational intelligence, and optimization algorithms. Dr. Moradian Zadeh has led interdisciplinary projects applying AI and network modeling to areas such as health informatics and palliative care, including work on social isolation detection and compassionate community networks.
