Dr. Sivaruban Kanagaratnam is a General Surgeon at Erie Shores HealthCare with a Doctor of Medicine from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russia. He completed his surgical residency at the University of Saskatchewan and a Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Fellowship at the University of Toronto. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biochemistry from McMaster University.

His clinical and research interests include 3D printing in medicine, rural surgical and endoscopy unit modernization, trauma education, access to healthcare in remote communities, provincial screening programs, and optimizing surgical care delivery through evidence-based protocols and community-based research initiatives.
