The project aims to examine tumor specimens from young-onset colorectal cancer (CRC) patients and determine if there is a molecular profile that is associated with development and progression of cancer in these patients. This will help guide targeted treatment strategies and identify patients who may benefit from ongoing clinical trials.

Jocelynne Cyrenne was one of three MSTHS students to be supported by Invest Windsor at the WE-SPARK Cheers to Hope event in May of 2023. She presented her research project on the progression of colorectal cancer to invasive cancer.
