The overall goal of this study is to gain insight into the relationship between women’s hyper-productivity, mental health, and trauma in higher education through a feminist lens. Our research questions are: (a) In what way, if any, is hyper-productivity associated with women’s experiences of trauma, (b) What role, if any, does mental health play in this relationship? and (c) What themes emerge from in-depth interviews with women in academia who report a history of trauma and hyper-productivity?
