People with mental health and addiction disabilities are at increased risk of housing instability and eviction. This project will test a community-based legal education program that helps participants understand their tenant rights and navigate the Landlord and Tenant Board process. The goal is to build knowledge and confidence so people are better equipped to protect their housing and access support when needed.

This project aims to reduce preventable evictions, build disability‑responsive legal education, and lay the groundwork for a larger Health Justice Partnership in Windsor‑Essex that bridges the gap between mental health care and legal advocacy.
