Dr. Grossmann is an Associate Professor of Psychology and the Director of the Wisdom and Culture Lab at the University of Waterloo. His work examines the impact of socio-cultural factors for wisdom and sound judgment in everyday life and has led to innovative methods for tracing societal evolution and change. He is the founder of The Forecasting Collaborative—the international collaboration between researchers who are interested in evaluating the accuracy of behavioural and social science models over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic.
