The Centre for Translational Cancer Research presents Dr. Douglas Hanahan

Dr. Douglas Hanahan is the Director of the Swiss Institute of Experimental Cancer Research of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and has been named a Distinguised Scholar by the Lausanne Branch of the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research. Dr. Hanahan is also the Co-Director of the Multi-Institutional Swiss Cancer Centre Leman and is an elected member of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences, the US Institute of Medicine, the US National Academy of Science and the European Molecular Biology Organization. Dr. Hanahan completed his PhD at Harvard and developed one of the first transgenic mouse models of cancer.
