Leveraging COVID19 data at ICES to support research and the health system response in Ontario

IC/ES - Data Discovery, Better Health

CEO of ICES, Michael Schull, provides an overview of the roles ICES has been playing to support research and analytics in response to COVID19. Real-time feeds of COVID test result data are linked, analysed and reported daily to the Ministry of Health and Public Health, and a public dashboard has been created. Multiple research projects are underway, and ICES is enabling researchers anywhere to access linked COVID19 datasets through its virtual secure access model.
